Injection molding is one of the most extended plastic processing technologies. Delivery of polymer melts into the mold cavity is the most important stage of the injection molding process. In the mold cavity the melt freezes and the product gain the final shape and form. This paper shows influence of cavity surface roughness and technological parameters on the flow length into mold cavity. The fluidity of polymers is affected by many parameters (mold design, melt temperature, injection rate and pressures) and by the flow properties of polymers. Evaluation of set of data obtained by experiments where the testing conditions were widely changed shows that quality of cavity surface does not affect on the length of flow. Příspěvek popisuje vliv drsnosti povrchu a technologických parametrů na tok polymerní taveniny v dutinách formy. Zatékavost polymerní taveniny je ovlivněna celou řadou parametrů (konstrukce formy, teplota formy, vstřikovací rychlost a vstřikovací tlak) a tokovými vlastnostmi samotného polymeru. Vyhodnocení naměřených dat získaných při testech , u kterých byly v širokém rozsahu měněny podmínky experimentu, ukazují, že drsnost povrchu neovlivňuje významnou měrou tok polymerní taveniny.
