Enthalpy relaxation of PS and PMMA were measured after temperature down-jumps from the equilibrium state of the material above Tg to temperatures close below Tg. All temperature history of the samples and also final temperature up-scan of relaxed samples were performed on DSC 1 Pyris from Perkin-Elmer. Polymer samples with different molecular weight parameters, such as molecular weight and molecular weight distribution were prepared by precipitation of the corresponding material. Enthalpy relaxation isotherms were fitted by Tool-Narayanaswamy-Moynihan (TNM) model. The influence of molecular weight on relaxation response is discussed through TNM parameters, such as apparent activation energy for structural relaxation, non-linearity parameter and stretching exponent. Further discussion is carried out in terms of enthalpy relaxation rate calculated from relaxation isotherms in the region where relaxation data varies linearly with logarithm of relaxation time. V této práci byla měřena entalpická relaxace PS a PMMA po teplotním skoku směrem dolu z teploty nad Tg pod Tg. Kompletní teplotní historie byla prováděna na DSC 1 Pyris od firmy Perkin-Elmer. Sledovaným parametrem byla různá molekulová hmotnost a taky molekulová distribuce. Jednotlivé frakce byly připraveny srážením příslušných materiálů. Pro fitování relaxačních křivek byl použit Tool-Narayanaswamy-Moynihanův model, vliv molekukulové váhy na relaxaci je tedy diskutován pomocí parametrů této rovnice. Vliv molekulové váhy byl zjišťován rovněž pomocí entalpické relaxační rychlosti, počítané z relaxačních izoterm z oblasti, kde se relaxační data lineárně mění s logaritmem relaxačního času.
