The paper is focused on the linear robust control design of nonlinear systems. Mathematical models of a set of typical nonlinear plants were created by means of Simulink S-functions. The theory of control design is based on Youla-Kučera parametrization of all stabilizing controllers expressed in the ring of proper and stable rational functions. Robust conditions are studied through the infinity norm HĄ and inequalities. The resulting robust controllers can be easily tuned by a scalar parameter m > 0. Various structures of robust algorithms were implemented and tuned for control purposes. The results prove that linear but robust controllers can be successfully applied for many nonlinear plants.
