Odlišnosti v intrapulmonální distribuci plynů při konvenční umělé plicní ventilaci a HFOV Deals with differences in intrapulmonary conditions between CV and HFOV in healthy and ARDS patients. Significance of the most important ventilatory parameters (MAP or CDP, DP, Dpalv, CT, PEEP, etc.) for both ventilatory control and protective ventilatory strategy is described. Other associated effects of these parameters upon oxygenation, alveolar gas concentration, etc. are discussed. The presented information is based on mathematical modeling of the lung mechanics, gas flow modeling in the respiratory system, results of several animal experiments, clinical observations and studies, and studies published in the scientific journals.
