For verification of effects of volume changes on composite structures, continuous measurements of strain and temperature in a test beam were carried out. These measurements were supplemented by measurements of temperature and humidity of the surrounding environment, as well as by material tests of concrete specimens (compression and tensile strength, modulus of elasticity, fracture energy, creep, shrinkage) in particular time stages.
