The adaptation of new employees to their new workplace is an important part of personnel management and an important element of managerial activities and skills. Successful handling of the adaptation process is the employer and the employee synergy resulting from the integration of existing knowledge, experiences, habits and internal regulations of the employer. Given that each emergency medical service has its regional specifics, it is also placed greater demands of managing adaptation to the new employees. This article summarizes the adaptation process as a whole and states the partial section of the adaptation process used in medical emergency services Karlovy Vary Region.
