The system for diagnostics and therapy of stability disorders is being developed at the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering of Czech Technical University and Charles University in Prague. The system uses a force platform, a 2D or 3D stereoscopic projection and a visual feedback. The software StereoBalance for the system was created by an interdisciplinary team containing biomedical engineers, rehabilitation doctors and therapists. The light-weight version of the system for home therapy is also being developed. Patient should use the console according to the recommendations of doctors and therapists and his family is supposed to cooperate. Every day home training is an essential part of a well-functioning and coordinated rehabilitation process. Measured data is stored on the remote server and professionals can easily access it to optimize the therapy.
