The study of the Ce3+ luminescent centers in Lu2SiO5 and Y2SiO5 scintillators was performed by electron paramagnetic resonance. Existence in the lattice a two types of Lu/Y sites affords a possibility for these ions substitution by Ce exactly at these positions. Thus the two different types of luminescent centers to be appeared. The spectral parameters and relative concentration of those centers have been determined.
