Temperature behavior of the zero-phonon emission R-line of photoluminescence of Cr3+ impurity ions in SrTiO3:Cr nanocrystalline powders with an average particle size within the range 13 - 100 nm was studied in order to examine an effect of particle size on low-temperature phase of SrTiO3. This study evidenced that SrTiO3 retains quantum paraelectric behavior down to a particle size of about 10 nm.
