The physical aspects of electronuclear energy production are actively studied today in many scientific centres all over the world. Most activities are concentrated on the classical electronuclear systems - Accelerator Driven Systems (ADS) - based on spallation neutron generation, with a spectrum harder than that of fission neutrons, by protons with an energy of about 1 GeV in a high-Z target. This publication deals with the same topic, it sumarizes the results of previous ADS experiments done by the Energy plus Transmutation collaboration and introduce new goals and motivations for future.
