Atmospheric radionuclide deposit monitoring in the environment is often conducted using bioindicators. We have chosen forest humus, surface of pine bark, Shreber moss, edible mushrooms and forest berries to follow the influences of NPP on the environment within 20 km radius. For the determination of the radio nuclides presence and their activity in samples a laboratory gamma spectrometry method was selected. The main task of this project is to describe the influence of NPP Temelin on radiation increase in its neighborhood (using trend analysis). The biomonitoring for years 2000 and 2002 included assessment dosimetry and spectrometry characteristic of photon-fields (that is determination of reference background) at 15 selected points.
