Implicit curves and surfaces are given as a zero set of some function. For many applications in computer graphics the function is proportional to the distance from the given objects. We'll introduce the specific canonical implicit function for implicitly definition of the hypersurfaces. The relationship between the shape operator and the derivation of this implicit function will be derived Implicitně zadané nadplochy jsou určeny jako množiny bodů, pro něž je hodnota jisté funkce rovna nule. V mnoha aplikacích počítačové grafiky je tato funkce nějakým způsobem závislá na vzdálenosti bodů od zadávajících prvků, tzv. kostry objektu. V článku je ukázáno, že pokud je funkcí, až na znaménko, vzdálenost od nadplochy, jsou formule pro výpočet invariantů ploch velmi jednoduché.
