This paper deals with the calculation of coumpling of the electromagnetic field and thermal field in cylindrical coordinates. For this modeling SW Wolfram Mathematica is used. An example of induction heating of a hollow metallic cylinder is shown. The cylinder is made of steel. High relative high permeability and electrical conductivity are dependent on the local temperature. The accuracy of model is then strongly connected with space domain division and –of course- with the time of one step evaluation.
