The combined network architecture with the twisted pairs and the optical fibers, called Fiber to the Building (FTTB) is becoming more popular. For twisted pairs section, the Gigabit digital subscriber line according to the new standard G.fast should be used. In the public buildings the cables with operating capability in case of fire are used increasingly. This paper describes the analysis of transmission at gigabit data rates on flame-resistant communication cables. The model of transmission lines and these parameters are presented. Theoretic transmission capacity on indoor flame-resistant communication cables is calculated and evaluated.
