Our research was focused on finding physical chemistry teaching efficiency in material engineering subjects at CTU, Faculty of Electrical Engineering. The research was realized in the subject Introduction to electrotechnical materials that is compulsory one in the bachelor course Electro-engineering and informatics registered into winter semester of the first class. One parallel class including 314 students divided to 16 study groups represented a sample for statistic treatments Teaching efficiency was evaluated using three non-standardized knowledge tests: - before teaching (input knowledge of students); - immediately after subject matter completion (output test); - at semester end (preserve knowledge test).
