A %22loose%22 eigenstructure assignment is proposed, in which closed-loop eigenvalues (poles) and eigenvectors are assigned in specified eigenvalue regions and eigenvector cones respectively. This regional eigenstructure assignment problem is reduces to a rank-one LMI problem, and easily combined with Hinf control by means of enhanced LMI characterization.
