*Sufficient computational power is improving the possibility to accurately represent vehicle powertrain through analytical models and thus efficiently optimize the system and its control logic. This paper introduces simulation results and on-board or test bench measurements of hybrid vehicle powertrain examples. The simulation tool is created in block diagram environment and is based on a library of vehicle components that are mathematically represented by multi body simulation approach.
