The presented work deals with in-cylinder process modeling, it concerns a high- pressure phase of a four stroke engine cycle (compression and expansion stroke). The Eulerian approach is applied to a general 3-D case. The major focus of the work is turbulence modeling. Linear one-equation models and two-equation ones based on the Boussinesq hypothesis are applied. A~combustion model is added which deals with flame front propagation by means of solving a transport equation. From the numerical point of view, a finite volume method combined with an explicit multi-stage Runge-Kutta scheme is implemented. The properties of the whole mathematical model are tested and the influence of important input parameters is analyzed. A comparison of measured and computed data is presented as well. Práce se zabývá modelováním vysokotlaké fáze čtyřdobého motoru. Simulační program vytvořený u autorů je založen na Eulerovském přístupu k 3-D modelování. Použité lineární modely turbulence jsou jedno a dvou rovnicové, pro modelování viskozity je použit Boussinesqův přístup. Spalování je založeno na předpovězeném postupu fronty plamene pomocí šíření pasivního skaláru. Byla zkoumána jak numerická přesnost různých metod, tak schopnost předpovědi parametrů turbulentního proudění ve srovnání s nepříliš četnými experimenty.
