New scale up rules have been proposed at which very similar flocculation results will be achieved. The effect of vessel size onto flocculation kinetics was investigated in three baffled tanks of diameter 0.15-, 0.20- and 0.30 m agitated by Rushton turbine. In contrary to our expectation the flocculation efficiency was found slightly higher in larger tanks when proposed scale up procedure was applied. This finding was statistically confirmed and explained. Byla navržena nová pravidla pro zvětšování měřítka při jejichž dodržení by měly být dosaženy podobné výsledky flokulace. Vliv velikosti nádoby na kinetiku flokulace byl studován ve třech nádobách o průměru 0,15 -, 0,20- a 0,30 m míchaných Rushtonovou turbínou. Oproti očekávání byla při použití navržených pravidel účinnost flokulace nepatrně vyšší ve větších nádobách, což bylo statisticky potvrzeno a vysvětleno.
