The purpose of Deliverable D1.1 is to synthesize that information in order to provide an overview on applied mix design procedures. In fact, several recent research studies concerning cold recycling have emphasised that one factor that is hampering its widespread use is a lack of a suitable and harmonised design procedure. Among several mix design approaches, the following key points were investigated and practical recommendations are given for: effect of different laboratory compaction methods; influence of different accelerated laboratory curing procedures; suitable test procedure for water sensitivity assessment; evaluation of different performance test methods and mix design requirements.
