The experimental measuring in situ on stays of Troja arch Bridge started this year. The aim of the experiment is to get representative sample of measurements for determination behaviour and boundary restraining conditions of these stays made from tension bar systems. Further uncertain value is logarithmic decrement of damping of these components. It is possible to obtain values for cables but not exactly for tension bar systems. The strain gauges and accelerometers are fastened on selected bars to measure acceleration and stresses in the stays .This article presents measurement methods and partial evaluation of eigenfrequencies on stays.
