This paper deals with the possibilities of force load transfer of concrete and fibre reinforced concrete elements through their surface layers. Several variants of fixing the specimens were experimentally tested and the resistance and rate and form of material damage under extreme loads were compared. The obtained knowledge can be used in cases of additional and temporary fixing the structural elements or fixing the concrete and fibre reinforced concrete specimens in laboratory experiments.
