dcterms:description
Results of numerous recent research projects have shown that silicon dioxide (SiO2) nanoparticles can strongly affect mechanical properties and chemical resistance of concrete when mixed with cement. The paper tries to summarize state of the art in this new area of concrete science. Particular attention is devoted to the question of nanosilica (nS) impact on hydration process.
