On the basis of tests on Macalloy tension bar systems which were carried out in past there was remarked that the weakest part of system is a coupler. Turnbuckle - related component of coupler with similar detailing - is essential for prestressing tension bar system. The first test on one sample of turnbuckle Macalloy M24 to verify its fatigue resistance is in progress.
