As indicated by the title of this contribution, the present study is based on analysing the Fast Fourier Transform based Homogenization in one dimension. First, the basic theory of the method leading to a differential equation consequently solved using the Fourier transform technique is provided. Then the convergence analysis of the method used to solve tho two phase medium is studied in detail, leading to a refiniment of recent convergence studies presented in.
