In this paper some production processes and possibilities of alkaline activation of fly ash are examined. This fly ash is used as a binder in new type of concrete without cement binder, called POPbeton. Program was focused on %22cold way%22 preparation of POPbeton without necessity of heating. In this program same types of so called %22intenzifikaror%22 were used. These %22intenzifikátor%22 causes hardening of POPbeton mixture. Samples of cold way prepared POPbeton were explored with electron microscope and they were compared with POPbeton samples prepared with heating. Popílek je použit jako pojivo v novém typu betonu bez cementového pojiva, který se nazývá POPbeton. Program je zaměřen na přípravu POPbetonu %22studenou cestou%22 bez nutnosti zahřívání. Přitom se používají se některé typy tzv. %22Intenzifikátorů%22, které způsobují tvrdnutí POPbetonové směsi.
