In this article we provide a short theoretical background of squeezing states of light. Mainly we focus on the photon number squeezing. We are interested in detection photon number squeezed states of light by ICCD camera. It is shown how the quantum efficiency of huge multi channel detector influences a measurement of photon number statistics. The theoretical results are compared with the experimental measurement of the photon statistics of twin beams emitted by nonlinear crystal BBO pumped by intense femtosecond UV pulse.
