A non-relativistic and homogeneous laser plasma in the presence of the stimulated Raman scattering is described by the Vlasov equation and by the Maxwell equations. These equations are treated by the Fourier-Hermite transform method, which is stabilized by a simplified Fokker-Planck collision term.
