Applying hydrostatic pressure to UCoAl its parameters T max (maximum of c-axis susceptibility) and B c (field of metamagnetic transition) increase with increasing pressure. We report on results of an experiment with a c-axis uniaxial pressure. It has an opposite influence on T max and B c leading to ferromagnetism in zero field.
