Creep of 0.5CrMoV steel was investigated experimentally at temperatures from 560 to 625/,/char'027 C and stresses below 100MPa. The conditions are similar to that of technical application of the steel, so creep rates are very low and beginning parts of creep curves can be only measured. The high sensitivity helicoid spring specimen technique was employed to record very small creep strains accurately. The data are important for better description of the creep process, since the creep damage elements are nucleated during this very early creep stages. Experimentální studium creepu 0.5CrMoV oceli bylo provedeno při teplotách 560 až 625°C a napětích pod 100MPa. Podmínky jsou podobné jako při praktické aplikaci oceli, takže rychlosti creepu jsou velmi malé a lze zaznamenat pouze počáteční stadium creepu. Vysoce citlivá technika helikoidních vzorků byla použita pro přesné měření velmi malých creepových deformací. Údaje jsou důležité pro lepší pochopení procesu creepu, neboť creepové porušení je nukleováno právě během počátečního stadia creepu.
