Series of experiments focussed on the inoculation of horticulture crop with arbuscular and ericoid mycorrhizal fungi proved that the mycorrhization could be a feasible biotechnology to improve plant growth and health status of several horticulture crop species: Cyclamen, Verbena and Rhododendrons when appropriate strains of mycorrhizal fungi are inoculated into the peat based media.
