Eggs of diploid tench Tinca tinca L. were half-stripped out and stored for 0 (control batch), 1, 3 and 5 hours at 17.0 +/- 0.4°C and 21.9 +/- 0.5°C or for 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 hours at 24.0 +/- 0.0°C in vitro prior to fertilization. The eggs remaining in vivo in the fish kept at 17.0 +/- 0.4°C and 21.9 +/- 0.5°C were collected and fertilized in the same time intervals. Fertilization rate and larval yield mostly decreased after 3 – 5 h storage of eggs both in vitro and in vivo and only the diploid larvae were found in all control batches. Triploid larval yields increased to maxima 5.26% after 5 h in vitro storage at 24.0°C and 1.07% and 1.60% after 3 h in vitro storage at 21.9°C and 17.0°C, respectively. Triploid larval yield during in vivo storage at 21.9°C reached its maximum 0.91% after 5 h. As the spontaneous autotriploid larvae arose solely from fertilized eggs previously subjected to post – ovulatory egg ageing by means of prolongated storage, the autotriploidy was probably caused by failure... Jikry diploidního lína obecného Tinca tinca L. byly částečně vytřeny a uchovány in vitro do oplození po dobu 0 (kontrola), 1, 3 a 5 h při teplotě 17.0 +/- 0.4°C a 21.9 +/- 0.5°C nebo po dobu 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 a 5 h při teplotě 24.0 +/- 0.0°C. Zbývající jikry uchované in vivo v samicích držených při teplotě 17.0 +/- 0.4°C a 21.9 +/- 0.5°C byly odebírány a oplozovány v témž časovém intervalu. Oplozenost a množství vykulených larev po 3 – 5 h uchování jiker jak in vitro, tak in vivo byly většinou snížené a v kontrolních skupinách byl nalezen pouze diploidní plůdek. Zastoupení vykulených triploidních larev dosáhlo maxima 5.26% po 5 h uchování jiker in vitro při 24.0°C a hodnot 1.07% a 1.60% po 3 h uchování jiker in vitro při 21.9°C a 17.0°C. Zastoupení vykulených triploidních larev při uchování jiker in vivo při 21.9°C dosáhlo maxima 0.91% po 5 h uchování jiker. Jelikož spontánně autotriploidní larvy vznikly výhradně z oplozených jiker, které byly předtím vystaveny post – ovulačnímu stárnutí prodlouženo...
