Publikovali jsme již, že numerická RNase A nemá žádné významné biologické aktivity, zatímco oligomery tohoto enzymu prokázaly pozoruhodné aspermatogenní a protinádorové působení. Rovněž bylo prokázáno, že chemická vazba nativní RNase A na PEG signifikatně zapůsobila antitumorově a aspermatogenně. V této práci jsme prokázali, že chemická vazba PEg a RNase A C-dimerem a trimerem snižuje aspermatogenní působení těchto komplexů. Na druhé straně se protinádorové působení na růst humánního UB 900518 melanomu rostoucího na athmických myších zvyšovalo. We have already shown that monomeric RNase A has no significant biological activity, whereas its oligomers (dimer to tetromer) show remarkable aspermatogenic and antitumour activities. Furthermore, conjugates prepared by chemical binding of native RNase A to polyethylene glycol (PEG) have shown a significant antitumour and aspermatogenic effects. In this work it was found that the chemical conjugation of PEG to the RNase A C-dimer, and to the RNase A trimers decreases the aspermatogenic activity of the oligomers while increasing their inhibitory activity on the growth of the human UB 900518 amelanotic melanoma transplanted in athymic nusle mice.
