dcterms:description
The genomic sequence of the porcine (Sus scrofa) glucocerebrosidase (GBA) gene, was determined and compared with human GBA and GBAP. The porcine gene harbours 11 exons and 10 introns, and the genomic organization is identical with human GBA. Three polymorphisms were revealed in the porcine GBA, and the gene was assigned cytogenetically to chromosome 4q21 and was also mapped by linkage analysis and on the RH panel. V genu prasete byly odhaleny tři polymorfismy.
