The aim of this thesis was to evaluate Prof. J. Davidovits’ theory of the use of agglomerated stone in the construction of the Great Pyramid of the Pharaoh Khufu (Cheops). Interpretation of the data from the above-mentioned analyses helped to arrive at the conclusion that the samples from Khufu’s pyramid are fully natural and do not contain an amorphous phase, which is so typical for geopolymeric materials.
