Package for measurements of the velocity field (or particle displacement) using PIV (particle-image velocimetry) technique. It has following features: 1) It is used from command line (no GUI), and it is suitable for implementation in software with broader scope. 2) It is relatively fast, especially if previous velocity field can be used as velocity guess for the next image pair instead of using multi-pass algorithm; this increases evaluation speed in the case of time-resolved PIV. 3) Uses multipass, multigrid algorith, with image deformation. Data validation is multi-pass. 4) Each image might have its individual mask; this is suitable for studying flow around a moving body. 5) Includes several examples demonstrating its use and a subroutine for visualization of results. The software is a freely-available package for processing PIV measurements in Matlab environment. Comparing to equivalent Matlab software, it processes data up to three times faster if the velocity field is time-resolved.
