The aim of this contribution is to observe the influence of electrolyte solution properties on the stability of the homogeneous regime and on the formation of the transition regime. The measurements are performed in a bubble column with a brass perforated plate with 0.5 mm orifices and relative free area phi = 0.002. The plate allows formation of subsequent generation of the homogeneous, transition and heterogeneous regimes with increasing gas flow rate. The aqueous solutions of CaCl2 are used as a liquid phase. The gas hold-up is determined by the bed expansion. The dependence of the gas hold-up on the gas flow rate is evaluated. The drift flux plot is applied to obtain the critical point where the homogeneous regime loses stability and the transition begins. Experimenty byly provedeny ve válcové koloně s mosazným perforovaným patrem. Velikost otvorů byla 0,5 mm a volná plocha patra phi = 0,002. Tento typ patra dovoluje provozovat kolonu jak v homogenním tak i v heterogenním režimu. Roztok CaCl2 o různých koncentracích byl použit jako kapalná fáze. Zádrž plynu v koloně byla měřena z expanze vrstvy. Závislost zádrže plynu na průtoku plynu byla zpracována. Byl vyhodnocen kritický bod ve kterém nastává nestabilita homogenního režimu a začíná jeho přechod k režimu heterogennímu.
