The using of parallel principles is the most effective way how to increase the performance both digital computers (single, parallel) and their applications (parallel algorithms). In this sense the paper is devoted to complex performance evaluation (calculation, overheads) of concrete parallel algorithm. At first the paper describes very shortly the developing steps of parallel algorithms and then he summarised the basic concepts for complex performance evaluation of parallel algorithms. To illustrate the theoretical evaluation concepts the paper considers in its experimental part the results for some concrete analysed examples.
