The increased consumption and the using of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are leading to dynamical applications as well as to increased problems with ICT-waste. A big amount of valuable material is disappearing at the dumps. How are knowledge of students and teachers in the mentioned area - it is the content of school curriculum or it is necessary to add this topic into the school curriculum? Do students have any knowledge about materials on the electronic devices and how much costs their recycling? Some answers gives questionnaire %22What with old computers?%22 distributed to students of teaching. By results we propose some activities, classes or class projects, for primary and secondary science education oriented to integration of science subjects (experimental activities, data mining and evaluation, calculations, geographical aspects, work with foreign texts, etc.). Lidstvo produkuje ohromné množství zařízení z oblasti ICT. Nové a modernější počítačové technologie zaplavují trh. I s používání ICT se začínají objevovat problémy. Ohromné množství počítačů si žádá patřičné množství elektrické energie, nepoužitelné počítače a jejich vnější periférie je nutné nějakým způsobem likvidovat. Objevuje se i nový pojem renovace a recyklace počítačů. Proto je nutné znát odpovědi na otázky, jakým způsobem je budeme likvidovat. Kde budeme ukládat CD-ROM mechaniky, HDD, vadné desky...? Tyto komponenty nelze likvidovat na komunálních skládkách, neboť jsou samo-nerozložitelné a navíc by se tím likvidovaly recyklovatelné nerostné látky. V navrhovaném školním projektu si klademe za cíl, přivést žáky a studenty k aktivitám podporujícím odpovědné zacházení s %22počítačovým odpadem%22.
