This article shows first finding about measuring with Z-metr in extreme natural condition of Mongolia during the expedition Mongolia 2014 patronage Mendel University in Brno. Z-metr is able to do a great volume of measuring in relatively short time. Unit is very well proven in detection of places with loss of water and poetical degradation of permafrost. Measuring was realized in organic or organomineral soil horizons. Depth measurements only in a few cases exceed 30 cm because deeper measuring was inconclusive due to the high content of the soil skeleton.
