The work looks for a relationship between the fractal dimension of anatomy structure of wood and impact energy. For that purpose the slight modification of common methods for experimental evaluation of fractal dimensions was performed. Modifications was compared on macroscopic scale of wood structure with validated Richardson method from previous work and applied for determination of fractal dimensions on three main directions of wood microscopic scale level. Finally, the comparison of significance of mentioned relationship of impact energy and linear combination of those fractal dimensions was realized. The main purpose of the project origins from the assumption about existence of fractal structure on such low scale level of wood . Opposite to common way of investigation where the researches estimate relation between impact energy and fractal dimension of fracture after impact loading (as quantitative of material toughness) we propose that wood structure includes sufficient amount of informati Práce se snaží najít vztah mezi fraktální dimenzí anatomické stavby dřeva a rázovou energií. Na rozdíl od běžných postupů , kde se stanovuje vztah mezi rázovou energií a fraktální dimenzí po rázovém zatížení,autoři této práce předpokládali, že struktura dřeva obsahuje dostatečnou informaci o houževnatosti i ve svém původním stavu (před zatížením). Z důvodu složitého provedení experimentů stanovení houževnatosti bylo použito rázového zatížení jako měrné hodnoty pro stanovení pevnosti.
