dcterms:description
The essay deals with the possibilities of morphing of text and music. Within the context of works by John Cage (Indeterminacy, Roaratorio) and Steve Reich (Come Out, It?s Gonna Rain) and using the example of the electro-acoustic composition Mente, it reveals further possibilities of work with the text on the confines of meaning, sound and tone. In the composition Mente, Peter Waterhouse?s poems are the textual basis, as well as the fundamental musical and visual material. Processed author?s reading is the basis of the musical material.
