The theoretical model of magnetooptical binary grating with cylindrical microdots is presented, where the anisotropy of permittivity is induced by external magnetic field. Coupled wave method is applied to grating multilayer with periodical ordering. Kerr rotation versus grating fill factor dependence is studied and compared to experimental results.
