The aim of the paper is reliability analysis of a parallel system with six reliable components using Simulation Based Reliability Assessment (SBRA) method. The reliability assessment is powered by the Direct Monte Carlo simulation technique and by the variance reduction technique based on Importance Sampling. The uniform density function is used as the importance sampling density function. Output results are given into comparison and graphically demonstrated. Numerical results correspond to the exact value of the failure probability. Cílem příspěvku je analýza spolehlivosti paralelního systému se šesti spolehlivými komponenty užitím metody SBRA (Simulation Based Reliability Assessment). Posudek spolehlivosti je proveden užitím přímé metody Monte Carlo a metody redukce rozptylu Importance Sampling. Jako hustota pravděpodobnosti metody Importance Sampling bylo použito uniformní rozdělení. Výsledky posudku jsou porovnány a graficky znázorněny. Vypočtené výsledky pravděpodobnosti poruchy jsou v souladu s analytickým řešením.
