Presented study brings some theoretical results derived for Kretschmann-Raether SPR configuration with gold patterned structure at coupling prism . As the analyzed medium, air or water with simulated contamination are considered. The patterning is supposed to have planar or lamellar structure with variable governing parameters . The reflectivity is calculated by own code implemented in Matlab. The influence of metallic profiles geometry of nanopatterned structure and the possibilities to extend these applications to spectral SPR are discussed in detail.
