This paper deals with measurement, analyses and results of experiments oriented to determine the distribution of elements between molten oxide mixture and steel melt. Samples of steel weighing 300 g were melted in a corundum crucible under argon atmosphere. Then, the surface of steel was covered with 30 g of oxide mixture, and after the temperature reaching 1600 °C followed dwell time of 10 minutes and spontaneous fall of temperature. Analyses were done.
