This article deals with the study of modern alternative sources of energy, i.e. thermoelectric cells. The efficiency of thermoelectric cells during direct conversion of waste heat into electric energy is typically evaluated using thermoelectric cell wall temperature, temperature differ-ence between the thermoelectric cell walls and the material parameter Z. This article presents an alternative non-destructive method for determin-ing the efficiency of thermoelectric cell using the evaluation of results of comparative electric measurements.
