The objective of the study was to qualify suitability of bacterial leaching application of a pure Thiobacillus ferooxidans bacterial culture in the course of lignite desulphurization and the dearsenification from the Dubnany locality. The results of this work that using clean cultures of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans are in the case good if we evaluate desulphurization from the point of view of pyrite sulphur. After one month of leaching is degree of desulphurization 28.95 % and degree of dearsenification is 38.89 %.
