Steel X10CrWMoVNb9-2 (P92) is considered to be one of the best heat resistant steels. The technological properties of steel P92, including its welding ability, are still under research and development. This article presents results obtained through an extensive experimental program with the focus on the processing technologies of steel P92. Specifically, there is a presentation of a study of welded joints produced by methods 141 and 111. The effect of post weld heat treatment on mechanical properties is observed in this article.
