Cellulose diacetate was acylated with 2-bromoisobutyryl bromide or with dichloroacetyl chloride giving polyfunctional macroinitiators for ATRP grafting of styrene, MMA and butyl acrylate. Under various reaction conditions, macroinitiators with variable degrees of functionalization could be prepared. The macroinitiators with 2-bromoisobutyryl groups were grafted with styrene or butyl acrylate, those with dichloroacetyl moieties were used for grafting with MMA. Graft copolymers with celulose diacetate backbone were synthesized in this way, having chemically different grafts, lengths and densities of which could be controlled in a broad range. Diacetát celulozy byl acylován 2-bromoisobutyrylbromidem nebo dichloroacetylchloridem za vzniku multifunkčních makroiniciátorů pro roubovací ATRP styrenu, butyl akrylátu a MMA. Variací reakčních podmínek bylo možno připravit makroiniciátory s různým stupněm funkcionalizace. Makroiniciátory s 2-bromoisobutyrátovou skupinou byly užity pro polymerizaci styrenu a butyl akrylátu, druhý typ pro polymerizaci MMA. Tímto postupem byly připraveny roubované kopolymery s celulosovou páteří a chemicky různými rouby, jejichž hustota a délka byla kontrolovatelná v širokém rozmezí.
